Zander Polk is the founder and CEO of Arden Meridian, which delivers analyst-reviewed property intelligence to commercial teams. He is an independent researcher in space systems and machine learning, and the creator of BEACON, an open-source research prototype for satellite conjunction triage. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte.
Zander Polk is the founder and CEO of Arden Meridian, where he also leads product. The company delivers analyst-reviewed property intelligence to commercial teams, combining satellite imagery, geospatial data, and public records to identify which properties warrant action across solar, building services, energy infrastructure, and site selection. Alongside the company, he conducts independent research in space systems and machine learning, focused on calibration, uncertainty quantification, and rare-event prediction. He is the creator of BEACON, an open-source research prototype for uncertainty-aware satellite conjunction triage, archived on Zenodo. He has been building software since 2016, beginning with independent game development. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte and is completing an M.S. there.

Naming and attribution
- Name: Zander Polk. Not “Alexander”.
- Company: Arden Meridian — two words, both capitalized.
- Title: Founder & CEO, Arden Meridian. He is also head of product; use whichever fits the context, not both stacked.
- BEACON: always set in capitals. Describe him as the creator of BEACON.
- ORACLE-Ω: written with the Greek capital omega.
- Do not describe BEACON as an operational system, a collision-warning service, or a deployed product. It is a research prototype.
- Do not describe ORACLE-Ω as anything other than a simulation-only research prototype.
- Do not attribute peer-reviewed publication to BEACON. It is archived on Zenodo with a DOI, which is not the same as peer review.
